About Me...

I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in Psychology in 1984, then obtained a Master's Degree from the University of West Georgia in Psychology in 1985. Not knowing exactly which branch of psychology I wanted to persue, I decided to apply for a flight attendant position at Delta Air Lines, Inc. while I decided and was hired in 1985. I married my college sweetheart in 1987 and ended up staying with Delta until we found out we were having our first child and then I chose to be a stay at home mom. Best decision I could have made! I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful grown children and I am one proud wife and mama!

How my Kimberly's Creations business got started!

It's actually kind of funny how I started my business. One evening I was

taking out the trash and when I went to put the bag in the trash can I saw

a few wine bottles in there. Our sanitation company no longer accepted 

recyling materials, so I felt guilty throwing the wine bottles away.

I started thinking of ways I could use them. 

My first idea was to cut the wine bottles, paint and decorate them and make

containers out of them to hold pens, reading glasses, makeup brushes, etc...

I made them for both men and women and did that exclusively for almost a

year. I then decided there had to be other things I could make, so I made wine

bottle wind chimes, wine bottle bird feeders and wine bottle tiki torches.

Those items have been some of my best sellers! From there it skyrocketed

and I added several more items to my Creations list, such as candles, wax melts, handmade soap & body wash, scented sprays, bottle lamps, cell phone/recipe stands and more!

I am happiest when I am being creative. Having this little business has been

so fun for me. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my creations in someone's home! I also sell some of my items in a local store!

It makes me happy to donate a portion of my proceeds to companies who

work to rescue/help animals. Cuddly is a company to whom I donate often. I only choose companies with an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
